About
Mia Rowland is a 20 year old Naarm / Melbourne-based emerging artist living and working on unceded Wurundjeri Woiwurrung land.

She works in painting, exploring intersections between abstraction and figuration, with a strong focus on technique-driven experimentation.
Her practice pulls together threads of fashion identity, perception, memory and nostalgia often exploring transitional states between childhood and adulthood. Mia is completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting at RMIT University, Naarm / Melbourne.
